To make the /n/ sound: Place the front of your tongue against the roof of your mouth, behind your teeth. The tip and sides of your tongue should touch the roof of your mouth. Now, vibrate your vocal cords. Don’t let any air leave your mouth; it should all leave through your nose. (To test this, pinch your nose closed while you make this sound–it should sound high-pitched and nasal).
